The Consolidated Manufacturing Company was formed from a merger of The Kirk Manufacturing Company, the Shell Cycle Fitting Company and The Toledo Manufacturing Company. It built the 35 HP, 2,400 pound Yale car, designed by George Trout, for and MSRP of $2,800. It had a 4-cylinder, water-cooled engine, transmission slide gear, three speeds forward reverse, a ma speed of 55 MPH, pressed steel frame and sub-frame, 104" wheelbase and 34x4 wheels.
