Porsche Cars North America, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2015 Macan vehicles. During manufacturing, the brake booster may have been damaged during installation.
Porsche's number for this recall is: AE02

Component: Brake Booster
Potential Number of Units Affected: 7
Consequence:
If the brake booster was damaged during installation, the vacuum in the brake booster may drop when the brakes are actuated, resulting in a reduced brake force boost, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy:
Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the brake booster, as necessary, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may Porsche customer service at 1-800-545-8039.
